Location & DIRECTIONS
3333 Broadway — Apt D13C — NYC, NY 10031
Take the 1 Train to 137th Street and walk down to 134th Street.
You are already on Broadway, so no need to cross any avenues.
On the South West corner of 135th and Broadway, you will see a large building and a big, metal sign that says 3333. The front entrance is Tower D, so no need to look for another tower. When you walk into the door, you do not need to speak to the doorman. Just go past the front desk to a column that has an intercom system on it.
Click the directory and type in Kushner until you see “Kushner, M” pop up on the screen. Click that to buzz the studio.
When I buzz you in, open the glass doors to the elevator bank to your left to go up to Floor 13. When you exit the elevator, take a left and the studio is all the way at the end of the hallway.
There is a combination of paid and free street parking in the area.
IF RUNNING LATE: Please call or text me at 954 254 5594. But, please, only use this number for this reason.
OUR SCHEDULING POLICies
Please know this policy was set with intension and is non-negotiable under any circumstances.
Your Deposit
Your required deposit is non-refundable. A deposit must be paid in order to secure your spot on the calendar. If there is no deposit sent, there is no scheduled photoshoot date.
Your deposit is applied to the total balance.
First Reschedule
When rescheduling your photoshoot, you must pay the full remaining balance to secure a new date on the calendar.
Second Reschedule
You will need to send a rescheduling fee of $100 to secure a new date.
Third (and any future) Reschedule
You are responsible for another payment for a full shoot.
Refunds and Reshoots
Under no circumstances do we offer any refunds or reshoots.
Cancellation
If you must cancel your photoshoot all together, you must do so at least seven (7) days in advance or will be responsible for paying the remainder of the shoot and hair and make up fee. If you cancel outside of the seven (7) day window, all that is forfeited is the non-refundable deposit.
PAYMENT
The remaining balance is due before the photoshoot begins. The photoshoot will not begin until payment is accounted for.
Please pay with via Zelle using michaelkushnerphotography@gmail.com or cash or check when you arrive.
We also have a credit card option (plus 6% processing fee).
Please prepare to pay make up artist separately. Their payment information is sent to you in a day before confirmation.
STUDIO RULES & OFFICE HOURS
By sending your deposit and signing this form — you acknowledge and agree to these terms and agreements.
Michael has the right to post your edited photographs on my social media sites, as well as his social media and website. If Michael would like to post a different photo, he will clear it with you first.
Michael and his team are not responsible for any personal injuries in or around the studio.
Michael and his team are not responsible for any lost / damaged items. Please be aware of items you place throughout the studio. We cannot keep tabs of which items belong to who.
To reiterate, Under no circumstances do we offer any refunds or reshoots.

We do not offer FaceTime or coffee consultations as preparation for your shoot, but check offer paid consultations (information below). Michael is also very active on Instagram where he posts weekly tips and headshot insight. You can find him on Instagram at @themichaelkushner

WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Please arrive on time, but no earlier than 5 minutes before. Most times Michael cannot accommodate a late arrival, but will do his best. If you're late, please text Michael at 954. 254. 5594.
We have a strict no guest policy to ensure a smooth shoot.
If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by an adult. If you show up to the studio unaccompanied by an adult, you will not be able to enter the studio and Michael will not be photographing you until we reschedule for a day when there is an adult present.
You will be greeted by a very adorable French Bulldog by the name of Sandwich! If you are allergic, please let us know and we will keep him in the other room. He will be very excited to see you and will stretch on you and lick your fingers. Try to wear pants to the studio to avoid any accidental clawing. After about 5 minutes, he will sit on the couch and nap while we shoot. He is trained to be a very good helper!
If you plan to bring an animal for any reason, that must be brought to Michael’s attention no later than 48 hours in advance of your shoot.
THE SHOOT
What designates as a look?
A look is an an emotion, vibe, or story you're trying to convey. One outfit goes with one look. We won't photograph multiple outfits per look. That being said, if time allows, we can consider removing or adding one thing (a jacket, for example) and still consider it one look.
Photoshoot Length
Depending on hair and make up and number of looks in your package — photoshoots can range from 1 — 2 1/2 hours. In your Google Calendar, we put an estimated time bracket, but sometimes the shoot ends before.
HAIR & MAKE UP
Michael’s hair and make up artists are highly recommended for a shoot at Michael Kushner Photography.
Please note, you may not bring your own hair and make up artist.
Please refer to your onboarding email for hair and make up rates.
Clients recieve one small hair and make up change during the shoot. This means hair goes up or comes down OR we add a lip OR we do a smokey eye. If we change more than one thing to your look, it will be an additional hair and make up charge of $30.
Hair and make up starts at the scheduled time of the shoot. If we are scheduled for a 12pm shoot, we will begin hair and make up at 12pm.
If you are doing your own hair and make up, please arrive to the studio with it already done and bring products for touch ups. Michael does not provide any hair and make up products for you, unless you have booked one of our hair and make up artists.
POST PHOTOSHOOT STEPS
You will recieve ALL the photos we took in our session within 24 - 48 hours.
Please do not post or use unedited photos anywhere — this includes making a Public Facebook folder asking for opinions.
You can download the photos, but again please do not use them unedited. The SmugMug link will not expire, and if it does, you will be notified.
When you know which photos you'd like edited, please fill out the Google Form sent to you in the email.
Your retouched photos will come back to you in 7 - 10 business days. Please provide the numbers in the format requested in the Google Form.
In the Google Form, you will find specific steps when it comes to extra edits, rush fees, and more.
